Pandemonium
I am feeling better today than I have felt since Monday. It’s still hard for me to laugh without having it turn into a protracted cough, but the congestion has cleared out of my ears and I have no more fever.
I’m liking this new location, though the stats seem like fiction to me. 112 people read my blog today, but clicked no links to get here? Oy. I need to investigate whether I can put sitemeter on the case. Have you or you had this issue?
I did a short run this morning to get back in the swing of triathlon training. We did a slow 12+ minute pace for the 3.4 mile loop of Prospect Park. Tomorrow I hope to run 6 miles and do a belated swim. Monday I can ride 13+ miles and Tuesday is the Wall Street Run.
I’ve never done that race before, but it’s supposed to be pandemonium. We’ll have three miles of financial district types running with us non-profit folks coming up the rear. Me and 9000 of my closest friend in the narrow streets of lower Manhattan should be swell for our claustrophobia. But it’s only three miles and it counts as one of the nine races that will qualify us to run NYC marathon 2008. So we’re all game.
Now excuse me, I need to see some people about new sneakers.

I haven’t had the high stats, but I have had the mysterious arriving by no links issue. The weird thing I’ve noticed is that frequently I have, say 36 views but only 4 looked at my post. Huh? Unfortunately, sitemeter doesn’t work here. So I think we’re stuck with it.

Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted it when I deleted the whole entry. There was something very bizarre going on. The entry actually appeared twice in my list of entries, but when I deleted the first one, it deleted both of them.

A race/walk on a Tuesday? Seems interesting…
I wish you good luck!
