No more stinky hippie
This morning I had to visit a couple of sites out in Queens. It went pretty well. I took a car service from one site to the other, and noticed that the driver had an interesting driving strategy. When he got cut off or anything similar he would applaud. Instead of screaming, cursing/hurling invective [good band name], he said, “GOOD DRIVING!” Then he’d raise his hands in mock applause. Next time I drive, I want to try that instead of screaming, “FUCKING IDIOT!” Maybe I’ll live longer.
I’m down 6 lbs in 7 weeks. That’s way too slow for my liking, but I’m continuing to put one foot in front of another. Last night, some lady asked me if I was just there to do maintenance. It was very kind of her. I do think that my new haircut slims me down. It’s the best cut I’ve ever had and right now I can’t imagine wanting to have shoulder length hair again. The unkempt hippie look does nothing for me.
Time to do work. Horrors!

Yay for the weight loss and yay for the driver. I should try that. Because AJ is developing an uncomfortable habit of criiticizing other drivers on the road. Now I wonder where he got that?

And also, pictures of the haircut, please!

6 lbs in 7 weeks sounds excellent progress…sure we’d all like to loose it overnight, but the gradual process is so much better. I wish I could report a loss that great, I am only down 3 lbs over that time frame…so good for you!
I am an advocate of short hair! I tried long so many times, but short is just so much easier.
We need more drivers like him!

Do you bless the rains down in Africa? If so, can I join you? Because now that I got the M&P song out of my head, it’s been replaced by Copacabana.

Six pounds in seven weeks is amazing. I’m happy if I average a half-pound a week.

Saying “Maintenance” was pretty rude. Seven pounds is really good. I know when you’re athletic sometimes its harder because you have muscle and they’re heavier. Remember that! But I’m sure you already know that.
