The cat is not happy with her bathroom accommodations. I went to pick her up from the guest bed last night to bring her to the bathroom and she went to bite me. I told her that a biting habit might well hasten her demise.
Meanwhile, I watched the glorious “So You Think You Can Dance” performance finale. I have previously expressed my great admiration for the dancing (and beauty) of Danny Tidwell. I don’t think he’ll win because this is America, so we can’t have the best person win…it’s unamerricun. But I voted for him 20 or 30 times last night and I WANT HIM TO WIN.
I may have to start sleeping with gloves on all year long. A couple of nights ago, I woke up from a dream that I was waiting and waiting for a bus to leave to go to DC. It was supposed to leave and didn’t leave…I kept asking why it wasn’t leaving on time and it was two hours late and why wasn’t it leaving. And then in the dream I felt a pain. I woke up a little bit later and noticed that I had several big deep welts in my palm from digging my nails in. That happens to me often, but never as deep as these welts. I haven’t broken the skin yet, since I keep my nails fairly short, but I don’t want to wait around to see if it happens. So I need to acquire some gloves.
At least my time obsession translates well to the running since there are always some minutes to average, divide, add or push towards. I’ll try to remember that while I do my 4 miles tonight.

I usually don’t watch those but I caught the end of last season. I was SO mad that Leilah (is that right?) didn’t win. I can’t imagine if I had watched all season. I would have been livid.

You might go look at Target or some such retailer in the health and beauty. They usually have beauty gloves and socks for sleeping — soft feeling and softening for your skin. May as well be comfy.
I don’t usually do stuff like this but last night, I was trying on running shoes in my sleep and totally kicked my husband in a not very nice place!

Well, that answers MY question for today! I think you should go with fancy white cotillion-type gloves. They are suitable for any occasion.
