Plans…
I did a 4 mile run in a 12:12/mile pace last night. While it was great to see R and K, the run was a bit humid. R and I were supposed to do 15 this weekend, but R hasn’t run more than 10 miles lately, so we’re going to do 13. There’s always next weekend for the 15 miles. I think that neither R nor I is as excited for the marathon as we were last year. There were four of us last year and a larger group makes it much easier.
Aside from seeing friends, lounging and learning backgammon, Nantucket was great for the food splurge. I ate cookies, ice cream and fried clams [not simultaneously] and managed to hold my weight gain down to under 1 lb. At the WW meeting on Wednesday, the weigh-in lady discreetly said, “Um, you’re up .[x] of a lb.” I did a little party dance, and said, “That’s GREAT…I was on VACATION!” And she smiled and we chatted about the fabulousness of vacay. I’m hoping for some movement downward of my poundage for the next time.
So, that’s all I have for now. I’ll be updating this weekend, when no one is reading.

At the WW weigh-in I go to, they stage-whisper your weight loss or gain. It’s so ridiculous. WE ARE HERE BECAUSE WE NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT!!! What’s the big secret, gals? Anyhow, my mom is here this weekend so I’m fully expected to let go of “the plan” for a few days…and cannot wait to do so!!

I’ll be reading this weekend! I’m still toying with the idea of weight watchers. I’m just afraid of who might be at the meetings. The suburbs can be a very scary place.
