No joy
Yesterday was a lovely day because M and I spent several hours talking and lounging and treading water at the beach. We’re hoping to be able to go once more next weekend…neither of us is ready for our beach days to be over.
My WW weigh in is tonight and, according to my home scale, there’s no joy in Crankyville. I had already decided to take the train to the Brooklyn Bridge and walk over the bridge and to my office. The view from the bridge is BEAUTIFUL–I checked out the Statue of Liberty and the Seaport and all the antlike people down below. Usually I’m running over the bridge and I’m not able to appreciate the view at all.
Last week’s workouts went like this: Tuesday-3.35 miles; Thursday 4 miles; Saturday-12 miles; Sunday-4 mile run and 30 minute lap swim. If I haven’t taken off any poundage at this weigh-in I’m going to have to do more exercise. I’m not sure if that will be swimming or walking. I can’t give up any more food and be able to train for the marathon. It’s not possible.

That looks like a very solid running week to me, specially after coming back from vacay. Good job!
You gotta remember, muscle weighs more than fat. I hop on the scale once a week and walk away disappointed, but I did notice that my pants fit looser.

Hope the weigh in went better than expected. Moving is a good thing. You are doing the right thing by exercising and having big goals. The weight will come along.
