Winter approaches
After a day of feeling tired, cranky and out-of-sorts, I awoke rejuvenated. Who knows how long it will last–there’s nothing like work to sap your energy.
I can’t believe that tomorrow is December 1. Chanukah is next week, and while it isn’t a major holiday, I am debating whether to make poptoes pancakes. Ideally, I would invite one person for PP, since I grate the potatoes by hand. Last year, Chanukah was later in the month and I spent some of it with my mother. I love PP the way I make them, dark, thin and crispy. I would make apple sauce and eat PP, apple sauce and sour cream. Yum.
The mother and I took advantage of Thanksgiving to talk about going away in February. We are going to spend 4 days in Puerto Rico at the same inn we went to last year. Four days is perfect for walking around, reading on the beach and eating. Just a little rejuvenation time. I like having a little winter vacation to look forward to.

I want to come too. It sounds fantastic. Maybe I will do it in your honor. That would be kind of cool.
