Joy

A post got eaten earlier and I won’t try to re-create it. I am home with no work until December 26. I was supposed to see H in DC, but we cancelled plans due to H’s illness. I’m sorry that I won’t be seeing her, but I like the homeland.

R, E and I are hoping to run all three days before Christmas.  I’m looking forward to it. The combination of too much food and too little exercise is beginning to get to me.  I have tentative plans for Sunday and Tuesday.

Meanwhile, after living with a broken DVR/cable signal since Tuesday, I went to exchange the equipment for something that works.  Shockingly, it went quite smoothly–I was in and out of the cable center in under half and hour.  Then I plugged in all the cables, and wired without incident. However, the TV is way too heavy for me to lift up to the TV stand, so I’ll be looking down at the TV for the foreseeable future. The cat is a bit peeved; she’s staring at the floor-bound TV as if to say, “Excuse me, sir, you’re in my seat!”
