Such noive
In NY State, the Divisi0n of H0using and Community Renewal (DHCR) administers rent stabilization rules. I live in a rent stabilized apartment and the landlord must adhere to those guidelines and that is why the rent for my apartment is less than half market value.
On Saturday, I received a letter from DHCR. Immediately I started to worry. I stared at the envelope, “They are going co-op…I’m going to have to leave…I can’t afford to live around here,” The sky was falling…I was upset. So I opened up the envelope and and founded that my landlord is petioning for a rent increase because of the installation of a new roof. And then I found that I am going to owe more every month. $4.01 to be exact. Da noive.
Yes, the weather. It is 50 degrees out–30 degrees warmer than it was 4 days ago. The sky is relatively cloudless, though there is some low-hanging haze. It’s strange, but I’m happy to have the respite from Winter.

It might be 70 degrees here today. While it’s weird and I’m sure everyone will end up sick from the temp fluctuations, I’m not exactly hating it.

Thank god it’s only $4.01, because $4.02 would be an outrage.

I needed the respite too. I ran outside and it was grand. I’m glad it was only 4 bucks. That’s hilarious and cool at the same time!
