Snowing

While it’s true that daylight savings is 16 days away and Spring is under 4 weeks away (have I mentioned that?), today is Winter.  There is very little visibility here and the snow has been coming down for a while.  This is our first real snow this year, which is odd because 100 miles from here they have gotten a ton already.

I’ll be sad tomorrow, if the freezing rain and ice prevent my run.  But this morning, on my way to take the subway, I was enjoying the muffling of sounds that the clean unplowed snow provides.  It’s a fine thing for a Friday.

I’ve been listening to my NYC friend whine all winter about the lack of snow, while sitting here looking at blizzards out my window. Glad you finally got some. Snow that is. Go forth and catch snow flakes on your tongue. I guess that’s fun. Blah.

I don’t think the ice will be so much a problem as the nine inches of snow you’re supposed to get (according to CNN’s site, anyhow). Snow day tomorrow?
