Books!
I have no complaints about my coffee meeting last night. I am no fun! We met, we spoke for over an hour and I went home. He’s worked at his paper for over 20 years, but only at the current assignment for 2.
I was telling my mom about the meeting last night.
Me: He says that he gets free books.
Her: Free books! That’s so great! You’re gonna go out with him again, right?
My mother and I have our priorities straight.
I felt like death on roll yesterday, but thankfully am feeling better today, though I’m not feeling very wordy. So happy weekend!

Does this mean you liked him?

I felt like death on a roll all last week. Chest congestion, sinus congestion, misery. I finally started to feel human again after 2 cups of ginger ginseng tea a week into the worst of it. It was probably a coincidence, but it was a dramatic 2 hour turnaround, so I’m sharing.

Thanks Jen. Lass, it means that he didn’t say anything to aggravate me the whole time. Shocking! I am cautiously optimistic.

Free books are good. And, thanks for the synopsis! As it happened I was able to see all but the first 10 minutes of Survivor. I am very glad that Ozzy didn’t go home. THat would have sucked.

Well, a qualified YAY! to you, then. And yes, free books are good.

Free books are the reason I married Mr. Spy. But don’t tell him that.

I’d date a massage therapist for the same reason. Feel better. And yay for being cautiously optimistic.
