Very little

Tomorrow is the Br00klyn half.  It should be fun and it won’t be hot, which is a big relief.  I don’t feel ready for 13.1 miles, but it should be fine as long as I take it slow and don’t get competitive with myself.

A co-worker of mine just got engaged.  This prompted my boss to say, “A friend of mine asked me after I got married whether that meant I wasn’t unhappy anymore at all.  I had to tell her it doesn’t work that way at all.”

I said, “Yeah, you said ‘nope I’m still unhappy’ “

She wasn’t amused.  But at least *I* think I’m funny.

I have a three-day weekend coming up, since H will be here on Sunday evening and Monday.  It’ll be great to see her–I haven’t seen her since the summer.  The cat is likely to be freaked out, but She’ll have to manage.  She’s been coddled all week by my neighbor, who’s painting my apartment.  That cat thinks she’s cute…but she isn’t.

Happy Friday.

Thanks for the encouragement. We’ll be talking about the Oceanic 6 most of the time we are out there, so I’m hoping that it will go by quickly.

Good luck with the race. Did you catch Survivor last night? Is this not the most interesting season in a long time?

I never thought Amanda was capable of such a poker face. I was almost PRAYING she had the idol. I think Parvati needs to go next. The black widow needs a comeupance. I was glad to see James on the jury, though. That’s encouraging.

Funny b/c I thought she was holding her eyes way too wide. The response of the jurors was FABULOUS!

Eliza’s expressions crack me up. I want to play cards with THAT girl.
