Zee?
Not running on Thursday worked fairly well–I was able to get a 12 mile run in without too much suffering. It certainly helped that it was overcast this morning and the temp ranged from 77 down to 72. Summer sun, you aren’t my running buddy.
Saturdays from 1 to 4 used to be my Special Special time with P, but I’m trying to have SS Time on the sofa without P. Meanwhile, my neighbor B’s 55 year old brother S. is getting married in 5 weeks and moving to Queens to be with his fiancee/wife. He wants me to meet his cat Diana–he doesn’t think he can take Diana, who is four, to Queens. I still have Maddy on the brain, but Diana is a tortoiseshell looking cat also. I’ve only ever seen photos, but she has more black in her…like the photo attached. This isn’t an actual photo of Diana, but the best I can do based on the hard copy photos I’ve seen of D.
So my plan is to meet Diana, who lives on the next block, after my vacation. I think Diana is a bad name for a cat, so I’ve decided that if I bring her home, her name would be ZoraDiana. I leave for Nantucket in less than 18 hours. Woo Hoo!

Guardcat is a Tortie, although she has long fur and sheds constantly. Maybe Diana and Maddie can be sisters.
P.S. Have a great vacation in Nantucket. Say hi to the ocean for me.
