Bachelor #1 Alias…who?

February 28, 2008

Bachelor #1 MrManiaPrincetonCaffeinatedCofee had on a nametag that said “R0lfe” and that seemed odd. He looked very Jewish to me and “R0lfe,” doesn’t seem to match that [my] ethnicity.  But you can’t very well say to someone you’ve never met, “hey Hymie–how can that be your name?”

Speed Dates part umpteen

February 27, 2008

Despite the rain, I went out to speed date last night.  I got to the venue, signed in, and got myself some wine. A little wine is a great thing.  I began to talk with Holly, a woman who was also waiting.  Some guy burst into the middle of our conversation MIDSENTENCE.  “Let me introduce [...]

Don’t be jealous

February 25, 2008

I’m going speed dating tomorrow [Tuesday]. I’ve got to get out there and try to be only 40% Cranky. With that in mind, I will be attempting to follow these 10 important rules, among others:

Despite extreme soreness, I did our 3.35 mile [...]

And I ran…

June 4, 2007

And so, finally, here is the report of the final seven bachelors:
B7: A Korean guy with a very odd American name. He has some sort of printing business. He was a struggle to deal with because his English was poor and he was very formal. He was boring and his face was oddly smooth, like [...]

Speed-dating!

June 1, 2007

Last night I did speed dating again. It was at a different location–this time on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

When I arrived at 7:15, the host, Angela, gave me my name tag and told me that my seat was at the bar. When I looked around, I realized that instead of having 18 ottomans [...]
